Ricky Ly

Ricky Ly is currently a member of the City of Orlando's Families, Parks and Recreation Board, a member of the Orlando Mayor's City Academy, and serves as co-chair of the Florida Water Environment Association's Water Resources, Reuse, and Resiliency Committee. He is also a member of Asia Trend Magazine's Youth Advisory Board and the Public Relations director for the Vietnamese Community of Central Florida. He is a co-founder of UCF's Asian Pacific American Coalition (Apac Unity), past UCF Student Government Senator, and was a former intern for the US Department of Transportation's Office of Civil Rights through OCA - Asian Pacific American Advocates. In 2016, he served on the national communications team for Asian-Americans For Bernie Sanders and was elected to serve as a national delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, PA. He runs the local Orlando food blog, Tasty Chomps! and is the author of the book, The Food Lovers' Guide to Orlando.
