Wanly Chen

Wanly Chen is a current student at Capital Normal University in Beijing, China, where she is majoring in the Chinese language. She is a recent graduate of the University at Buffalo, where she was a student journalist for the school paper The Spectrum.Through her studies and involvement with Asian American Student Association, she became an advocate for female rights and proper representation in media of APIs. By writing stories of her own personal experiences, she hopes to provide the transparency needed to bridge both the Asian and American communities.
